Charisma

Keep the receipt
Give me the mic and take it away
Drink away the pain

Breaking the dishes
First time writing
Drink away the pain

There's no reason
I'm not one of the shook ones
Drink away the pain

Delta hardware
I'm only flesh and bones
Drink away the pain

My arms wide open
Crack the bones
Drink away the pain

I'm a Rock & Roll star
Lost in St. Louis
Drink away the pain

Family Feud

Lost in a cruel cold world
Broken teeth and thumbs
Getting hit by a truck
There's a light that never goes out

It's better to be a snake
Than to be a poet
Don't want to go home
Hear the rattling of the bones

Broken dishes and strings
Rumbling with these fists
Crazy is what crazy do
Hands off the bales of cotton

Pick the yams instead of the cotton
Cut the bones wide open
Jiving while miking the cow
Common fanfare for the man
